I don't want to lose any messages due to the spam filtering
No mail is lost through spam checking with the MailCOPA email client - all messages are downloaded and then checked.
If they are identified as spam they are placed into the Spam system folder.
It is a good idea to scan the Spam folder just to be sure no "good" messages have found their way there, an inevitable occurrence sometimes as a result of the difficulties of being absolutely sure what is spam and what is not.
We recommend that the spam folder be set for purging of messages older than one week, but that Unseen mail should not be purged. Thus only mail you have checked and marked as Seen will be purged.
